Delhi Dynamos FC announced the signing of former Chelsea FC star Florent Malouda for Season 2 of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL).

The 35 year old French midfielder will be a major boost for Delhi Dynamos in their second ISL season. Malouda is the second established international footballer to join the side from Delhi, besides Brazilian legend Robert Carlos who will be the marquee player-cum-manager.

Malouda made his professional debut at senior level for French outfit LB Châteauroux in 1996, before he went on to play for En Avant de Guingamp, Olympique Lyon, Chelsea FC, Trabzonspor and FC Metz.

Malouda has represented the French senior national team 80 times, while being a vital part of the French squad during the FIFA World Cups in 2006 and 2010. He has also represented France in the UEFA EURO 2012.

The French maestro has also won various titles with his club sides e.g. UEFA Champions League and the FA Premier League with Chelsea.
